JOB SUMMARY:
The Guatemalan-Maya Center has an exciting Part-Time (25+ hours a week) job opportunity to work as a VPK teacher first-hand experience with the Mayan and Hispanic population. The overall responsibilities include following the Vision and the Mission of the GMC. Must have teaching experience, CDA staff credentials. Develop weekly lesson plans using the Creative Curriculum. Candidate must be punctual and have good attendance to create a consistent environment for families and staff. Tuition reimbursement, including the opportunity to earn your ECE college degree for FREE. We believe in a long-term relationship with our employees. Hourly compensation for this position will be based on qualifications. We are open Monday to Friday from 8 am to 6 pm year-round. We have one preschool classroom, two VPK classrooms, and three aftercare classrooms.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Ensure the safety of all children in our program
Closely follow licensing regulations related to childcare
